Child who met CM Yogi Adityanath seeking school enrollment gets admission

A young girl named Vashi, who had approached Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a Janta Darshan in Lucknow to seek his help for school admission, has now been enrolled.

Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 15 (HBTV): A young girl named Vashi, who had approached Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during a Janta Darshan in Lucknow to seek his help for school admission, has now been enrolled. Expressing her gratitude, Vashi thanked the Chief Minister for fulfilling her wish.

While speaking to reporters, she said, ‘I asked him to enrol me in a school. Today, I got enrolled... I would like to thank him (CM Yogi Adityanath) for this.’

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a Janta Darshan in Lucknow on Monday, June 23, where Vashi made her request. The Chief Minister engaged with her, asking which school and class she wished to enrol in, and later directed officials to proceed with her admission.

Recalling the interaction, Vashi said, ‘I met Yogi ji. I asked him to enrol me in a school. He said he would do it.’ She added, ‘I have come from Moradabad. He gave me a biscuit and chocolate.’

Since assuming office, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has regularly conducted Janta Darshan programmes, where he listens to citizens’ concerns and addresses them directly.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inspected the under-construction hostel at Maharishi Vishwamitra Autonomous Medical College in Ghazipur on Tuesday. Speaking to reporters, he said, ‘Purvanchal Expressway and Maharshi Vishwamitra Medical College have become the identity of this district. Today, I have inspected an under-construction nursing college. Projects worth INR 1,100 crores are either approved or are underway...’

That same day, CM Yogi also attended the 25th meeting of the Central Zonal Council in Varanasi, chaired by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah.

Posting on social media platform X, the Chief Minister wrote, ‘Honourable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji has described “cooperative and competitive federalism” as a powerful medium for the country's all-round development. In this context, today in Varanasi, I participated in the 25th meeting of the Central Zonal Council, chaired by the Honourable Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri @AmitShah ji.’
